I just bought into this one at .40 and from what I can see on the charts, there is a minimal risk factor and the price should return to the .5 to .65 range today or tomorrow.
This one has no new news but has no bad news either.
NITE just got involved in the stock and since then it did this little drop... why do they do that, I don't know. I don't care. But that's how I make my money. Buy low, sell higher.

I'd say this one is a sure bet.

bro,
I took a huge loss on that one...
a couple of hundred to be exact
I feel so bad for that...
It taught me to check for news and filings 100% of the time when using this method for choosing stocks.
I can't appologize enough man...
I got out, I think in the .40s
Twas painfull
My new system only allows for a 10% loss and I'm out of there... next stock please... that is what I should have been doing the whole time, but it took FNVG to finally teach me. I hope I didn't brake you man. That bad news was a terrible oversight on my part. I assure you that that won't happen again (the news oversight that is). I really think you could start making your money back with this little stratagie. just look for anything 30% down with no good reason to be down. Make sure the spread's not too severe, and then wait for the bottom floor. hop on and ride up till she turns back around.
Again, my appologies.

OSGL has some very nice potential

and I'm not looking for some sharp spike or anything, I'm looking for it to go back and do what it's been doin for the last six months

ask is up to .45 now
either wait for .40 again or go for it if she takes off. She's probably gonna take a day or two though

The bottom on this one seems to be very safe. If the thing hits .36 I sell because of my new rule... but I don't think it will be a problem

Don't sweat it glass, you seem to be a very good trader, and I always pay attention to your posts. This new system (which is really just common since) is working great for me. I am just tied up in old decisions so much right now that I only can play one of these things at a time right now (while waiting on the old ones to come back). It doesn't get anymore fun than this on the good days and doesn't get any more wreched than this on the bad days. Day Trading kicks butt man.

JOHN.
ITS NOT YOUR FAULT MAN. YOU MENTIONED WHAT
YOU THOUGHT WAS GOING TO BE A WINNER.
I LOOKED AT AND DECIDED TO GET IN ALL ON
MY OWN. ITS 100% ON ME , YOU DONT NEED TO
APOLOGIZE FOR ANYTHING AT ALL. IM JUST GLAD
THERE ARE GUYS LIKE YOU AND THE DOG WHO
ARE NICE ENOUGH TO GET ROOKIES LIKE MYSELF
IN ON SOME OF THE RIDES UP. I KNOW THEY ALL CANT BE WINNERS SO WE JUST HAVE TO MINIMIZE OUR LOSSES. I AM STILL HOLDING I WILL SEE IF IT GETS BACK TO ABOUT .40 BEFORE I SELL AND IT WILL ONLY BE A LOSS OF A COUPLE HUNDERD
BUT I WILL MAKE IT BACK SOMEDAY.

LIKE I SAID I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU TRYING
TO GET ME IN ON THE RIDE UP. ITS ALL COOL.

AL

I wish everyone was as forgiving as you al68. I have the same philosophy... if I get burned on a tip, its my fault... and I have been burned many a day.
I believe, and experience has taught me, that it is possible to do the necessary research and DD and all that on the fly while trying to seize the moment and good trades. Its when one gets too cocky, like I did with FNVG, that the lack of research turns the stock exchange into a slot machine. I'm not going to spend hours researching something unless there is nothing else to do. If I would have spent 2 minutes looking at the PR for FNVG then I would have saved us all some money.
I feel like I've filtered that problem out at this point... by setting various rules and what not.
1. I never invest in the same stock twice in the same day... unless it is to hold my position and buy more for cheaper. Only 1 buy and 1 sell per company per day.
2. I sell, typically, at a 10% loss if it goes that way... move on, next stock please
3. I refuse to buy something that is green at the time, unless it is 15 minutes after the morning bell and the thing was down the day before 20% or more for no good reason.
4. I always check the MACD, RSI, and make sure that its not about to cross over for the worse... it needs to be crossed already heading down, about to cross heading up, or on its way to a retrace soon.(OSGL has just crossed, and for no good reason. I believe it will cross back soon enough)
5. I always check for news
6. I don't let greed get to me... with OTC Charts I am able to see "TIME AND SALES" to the point that I can see with enough accuracy when the thing is about to turn around. But if goes up a few floors I'm not disappointed if I sell and she shoots to the moon after that... just say, "next stock please".
7. I never buy something that doesn't fit these rules
8. Stocks of any price are acceptable but have to fit inside the parameters above... 30%gain is 30%gain.

Thats about it for my little system of rules
I buy unreasonably down and sell at the normal price up higher.

JD I think the amount of time you are willing to spend in a stock should be proportianl to the amount of time you spend DD'ing a stock the more DD the more comfort----more or less what you said LOL

LEVEL II shows the bid @ .40 and ask @ .45

Bid and ask being above the Last ( .39 ) has always been good in my experience!!!

She'll see victory soon baby.

very well said glass

In my case its not proportional though
Its inversly exponential...
I spend the same amount of time researching as I do in a stock if its a quick buy/sell... but after that the percentage of time I spend researching becomes exponentially lower... (thats not a rule... I guess it would be a bad one huh) lol
