Apparantly this affected QBID in a negative way....is that the case for most buy back programs...do the MM's drive the price down so the company can buy the shares back cheaper..?????

No. I simply think that the long awaited news has hit - the short term profit takers realized this, felt it was their time to get out, and so they did. The stock should start to slowly rise again. I think the beta on the stock will be very high at least until the end of this week, and where ever it settles (probably a little higher than it is now) will be where it will slowly rise from. Just my opinion though...
