Get the feeling your the one taking the weekend off Bob!

I'm writing a paper on racial disparity in the juvenile justice system and how to fix it.

this is my outlet when I complet a page.
I'm to old for this paper writing s**t.
(I was going to completely spell my vulgarity just to see if you did take the weekend off) LOL

Keith

Hi Bob and Keith, nice to see you guys are into some great stuff besides stocks. I love the line in the 'Christmas Carol' Mankind was our business. I am a singer and share about World Vision Child Sponsorship in my concerts. I am hoping to get 1000 kids sponsored in the next 15 months. As a singer I have a great face for radio. I trade stocks while I make phone calls to book myself in churches and Christian Coffeehouses. I took a little time off late last year-got tired of the phone aspect of my work and started trading a lot. I doubled my portfolio in 4 months so now I am trying to trade while I do my booking. But it does get a tad tricky trying to to carry on a coherent conversation and watch the top 400 OTC stocks, breaking news, 52 week highs and low, Level 2 and page refresh portfolios. But I think I am doing it all right. I have been booking some concerts and writing some songs. But definitely playing catch up on the weekend. Enjoy-Hope your Monday is green as it gets-Debi

Hay--thanks ya'll, I really appreciate news that others are in the "business" of caring, taking care, or doing something for the youth of this or other nations. They are our future and how we take care of or raise them now determines how they will look at us in the future. I firmly believe in young people having a chance for a future that may not have a chance if we don't provide a choice other then the "steeet". My wife and I are foster parents--WE DON'T do it for the money! as what the state pays will only cover the very lowest cost basics, meaning we spend more then that, cuz these kids NEED some nice clothes, "stuff", that they can be proud to wear to school, etc (something most have never had). If they don't feel out of place in public, they will feel they actually belong there. Also we encourage them to look ahead, plan on becoming "something" as most don't feel they have a future when they arrive here. Enuff--I'll get off of the soapbox--thanks...........steve

Hi Following Stocks, Good for you for being a Foster Parent. It is the toughest job of parenting anyone could ever have. You get the children with the most physical, psychological and emotional problems, love and parent them with the state breathing down your neck and onlookers thinking you do it for money. Other than that it is a cakewalk. My husband and I were foster parents for many years and adopted our twin Foster babies, a boy and a girl who are mentally challenged. Today is their 18th birthday. They are incredibly sweet and loving and our lives are definitely better for having them in it. Foster Parents are doing an incredibly difficult job and get kind of a bum rap. We parented a total of 13 kids over a 5 year span. I had a 6 week old with a broken femur, A 2 3/4 year old with a serious rage problem-you wouldn't believe the whirlwind this adorable cherub was. When he was almost 4 in one day he broke a window with his fist, killed his pet crab, urinated on top of his bed (deliberately he was totally toilet trained) and was using the F word-he had been with us for about 9 months and I knew we were not making any progress-he left soon after for a specialized home which could deal with his rage. He had been seeing a therapist the whole time he lived with us but he could remember all the horrible things his Father had done to him and his rage was out of control. We also had a teen with multiple personality disorder-also from an incredibly abisive background. She is now 28 and living independently. She has made a miraculous recovery, her psychiatrist and therapist recently 'graduated' her saying she doesn't need their services anymore-She is healthy. That one aged me about 10 years in the 3 1/2 years she lived with us. I would love to Foster again but I don't have the time with everything I have cooking now. God Bless-I am off to sing at church-Debi
