Here are my thoughts read or not.I really like this board but there is
a tendancy to squash any opinions that
are not "very" positive. People have money
on the line and so this is understandable.
In the case of CTKH it comes down to a
case of perceptions, reality, and what
your goals are.
If you look at the Press releases for the
past three years you will see much of the
same promises that are in the most recent
releases. (We can all hope that they have
finally reached sugar candy mountain and
all of our dreams will come true... The
odds on the Virginia Lottery are about 1
in 40 million. Based on my past experience with
this company I figure my chances are pretty
much equal between the two)
I lost money when they did their last
reverse and subsequent name change. I
invested when it looked like a deal with
Motorola was just days away (a year plus
ago...)
Someone posted a link to pictures of
CETEK facility with a few furnaces in
the parking lot. I personally was not
that impressed. Didn't appear to be a
lot of pride in the facility based on
my impressions of the pictures (from
what I remember). Also did not appear
that to me that the sheet metal furnaces
were all that valuable either.
Having spent 7 years in England in the
US Military. I could see them purchasing
just about anything and considering it a
bargain. The British are good, honest,
hard working people.
The aspect of CETEK that could be valuable
is their process/mixture on the ceramics
which didn't appear to be getting that much
press lately.
So personally... I am not impressed with
CETEK.
Having said that though... I recently made
some very good money on ADZR and have a
chunk of fun money available. So on monday
morning I will try riding the wave with
everyone else.
I do hope that their prospects are much
better but I do not have any faith in the
company or the management.
Over the past 17 months I have taken 2k
and turned it into 28K. Most of my picks
are more longer term. Trying to find
good companies that will truly grow vice
riding shells and PR. I consider CTKH
a very speculative buy. If you do invest
watch it closely and know what your goals
with the stock are...
If you look at the most recent release
you will see references to profit 185%
above 2002. The question is How much was
2003? or 2002? There are many companies
using the Bush administration $4 billion
nanotech appropriation as a basis for their
potential/expected growth. There are no guarantees
that CETEK will benefit in any way from
this appropriation.
They talk about orders and meeting shipping
schedules. What are they shipping, quanity,
costs, and profit? Who specifically are their customers? These are all valid questions that you should ask yourself in
your DD.
Just a few thoughts from someone who is
not that enamored with this company.
Monday morning should be fun though and
I will be bidding along with everyone else on
this stock. I hope their future is great
so just like I do every week for the lottery
I am going to put money down on CETEK and
hope my numbers come up. (Knowing that my
chances of walking away with anything substancial isn't the most likely thing
in the world.)
