I am interested in your views as well. I've held this stock for some time now. Unfortunately, I bought it in the 6 dollar range. I have since brought my average down a bit. My biggest concerns are:1) The fact that they admit that they will run out of money around 06/2004, if additional funding is not achieved.
2) Mad cow disease. How will this effect the FDA approval process since the Hemopure is derived from cow blood. I'm guessing in addition to the overall safety of the product, that's a big question from the FDA.
3) Numerous lawsuits against the company for SEC violations. Right now there are at least 19 different law firms in the process of suing the company. These are the ones I know about!
However, all is not negative.
1) PPS is currently holding steady around the 2.00 range with an occasional 15% pop. 52 week low is $1.78
2) IMO, they are too far along in their research/clinical trials and FDA process to lose it all now. I wouldn't be surprised to see them get the additional funding they need.
3) If funding is secured, I would expect to see the pps surge dramatically.
I'm a little bitter about the dishonesty by the company in regards to the FDA approval. However, I believe in the product. I'm hoping the FDA issues will be worked out within the next 6-8 months, if not sooner!
