I've received quite a few e-mails about the stock site I've been using, asking for some help with the streamers. They're a fantastic tool for weeding out the movers. You can use all or just a couple of the streamers at once. Just check the boxes of the ones you want to set. Below is one of the set parameters that I broke down for kitkatranchgirl to use as an example:
You can even name them to grab in a hurry! One I call LowRentLeapers is set up like this:
Price Range Volume Range .0001-.006 5000 -Leave Blank
Price Action The GAP UP is GREATER THAN 10 % relative to CLOSE
The GAIN is GREATER THAN 10 % relative to OPEN
Volume Action Volume increase IS GREATER THAN 20 % relative to YESTERDAY
Trade Increase Trade Increase IS GREATER THAN 10 % relative to YESTERDAY
HIT RESULT (realtime during market-snapshot when market closed)
The results show me that SFII had 20 trades (solid amount) with a 100% increase. You could then click on the ticker SFII and your realtime window will go to SFII so you can see entire action and news at the moment. From there I generally throw it on Barcharts.com's Trend Spotter and check a quick chart. Whole action takes maybe a minute or so and I can decide if I want to jump in.
The 52 week breakout is excellent, but be careful. Always click on the ticker to see the realtime window and verify that it wasn't just one fluke trade that created the fuss.
You can just check on the boxes such as Volume Action or Trade Increase to set which streamers you want to activate for your inquiry. Use one or all of them, it's up to you. I set many different scenario's to give me different stock pricing levels and to predict uncommon movement among the board.
The Top 400 is terrific also! It automatically keeps track 1-400 by which stock has the most trades. You just have to click on the different headers (net for example), and it will put them in order of which stock has actually increased the highest pertaining to actual net gain. The more you use this site, the more you'll enjoy it. Let me know if there is anything here that is unclear in my rambling. Good Luck Stockin'!!!!

On the main website page be sure to go to the main blue header at the top and visit "our portals" "otc:bb market coverage". It has information and news on everything from patents to mergers to splits and much, much more. Any problems operating the site and you can contact me at keldar@citlink.net. "Just tossin' a bone".

Dog, I'm using OTCCharts too; this is just my first week with 'em, but it's really a great tool with a lot of features; and, they're gonna' have a users portfolio and level II within a couple of months. Like you said, you can see when a stock is going up, up, up, but as you cautioned, you definately have to check it out carefully, as the volume might be 1000, but not usually. As I learn this interface better, I may try some plain old hit and run day trading. I'm glad you're enjoying it and brought it to the attention of members here. Definately worth the cost.

Nice info DDog....thanks! I use my Ameritrade Advanced Analyzer for most screening.....but it doesn't work with OTCBB stuff. I'll look into this site a little more.

dardadog, Thanks. I am a firm advocate for OTCCharts.com. Great site. I cannot see how anyone can trade in the OTC market without the real-time information provide by this site.
