Has huge land position with billions of barrels of oil, but in areas where the Canadian government has not previously granted drilling rights to be able to determine the actual amout of oil present. The government wants to be sure that everything is done right before the first permit is granted and so the process has been slow. Needed multiple agencies to give the approval and that has taken over a year. Now just one approval left and then drilling can start. In the meantime, the company has just gotten more property and it is right in the area where other permits have been granted, plus it is in a very productive area. http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/050825/255500.html?.v=1

So they should get quick approval for drilling the area in a short time.

I first mentioned the stock in February in the .25 to .36 area. http://www.allstocks.com/stockmessageboard/ubb/ultimatebb.php/ubb/get_topic/f/7/t/001321.html#000000
And again at the beginning of August when it was .69 http://www.allstocks.com/stockmessageboard/ubb/ultimatebb.php/ubb/get_topic/f/7/t/001714.html#00000 In the last month or two more and more commentators are mentioning the Canadian oil sands and the interest in the area is growing. Today CWPC closed at $1.39 If you look at the chart you will see that starting at the beginning of August, the stock has taken off. http://www.stockhouse.ca/comp_info.asp?drawChart=1&originalSymbol=CWPC&economy=0&originalTable=LIST&advanced=1&chart_symbol=CWPC&priceDisplay=1&duration=12&moveavg1=&moveavg2=&move color1=ff3300&movecolor2=66cc66&addchart=0&Submit.x=68&Submit.y=8 And now they will be able to drill and officially say how much oil they really have on their properties. If it turns out to be billions of barrels of oil, then the rise from .25 to .69 to $1.39 will just be the beginning of a long rise upward. You might want to buy at least some shares in the company.
