Guanwei was formed out of the desire to reduce the amount of plastics to be sent to landfills by continuing to manufacture clean, non-composite, totally recyclable plastics into the marketplace. Guanwei is dedicated to environmental stewardship and to contributing its efforts to protect the earth and keep China clean for generations to come. Guanwei's residual waste is treated, with 18 industrial suction pumps, servicing its 10 meter deep settlement ponds, covering over 4,800 square meters (50,000 SF plus) of area. The effluent is treated with chemical additives and filtered many times before emission. It is then discharged to a post-treatment area to avoid permeating the earth. Guanwei is among very few Chinese manufacturers that have obtained both Chinese Government and Germany Environment Audit Association Approval.
