AQUAGOLD INTERNATIONAL: Aquagold International (Aqui) Announces Signing Of Co-Packaging Agreement With Les Eaux Saint-Leger Waters Inc.
New York, NY, Apr 30, 2009 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- AQUAGOLD INTERNATIONAL (OTC/Pink Sheets: AQUI), a global distributor of premier Canadian spring water products, announces the signing of a co-packaging agreement with Les Eaux Saint-Leger Waters Inc. to bottle its product. The initial term of the contract is through year-end 2011, and the contract includes automatic extension provisions for three-year periods thereafter. Saint-Leger will dedicate an entire production line exclusively for Aquagold water, and capacity will be increased in the case of orders exceeding initial expectations by adding shifts to the line. Saint-Leger will also coordinate receipt and storage of components of production for Aquagold, as well as utilize its experience to orchestrate requisite documentary flow to comport with terms of trade between Aquagold and buyers overseas. Les Eaux Saint-Leger Waters Inc. is dedicated to producing, bottling and distributing water at high standards of quality that exceed government requirements. It sells water in bulk and in bottles to industry, pharmaceutical and cosmetics companies, and to the hospital sector, as well as in PET bottles to the retail sector. Various waters sold for the uses above meet and surpass standards imposed by the Ministere de l'Agriculture, des Pecheries et de l'Alimentation du Quebec (MAPAQ), the Food Inspection Division of Health Canada, the United States Pharmacopiae (USP), the Food Chemical Codex (FCC), and the Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association (CCTFA). Saint-Leger was established in its current form in 2000 through the asset purchase of a company that traces its origins back to 1974.
