This one is looking really oversold at under .60, they have numerous properties and the top one being Copper Canyon- Casey had a writeup a few months back: Douglas Casey, writing in the May 2, 2005, issue of his International Speculator, comments favourably on 60-cent Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. Mr. Casey said buy in January, 2005, at 69 cents. An investment of $1,000 at that time would be worth $844 including broker fees. The U.S.-based letter writer says Eagle Plains is one of the most prolific of his project-generator buys, with 30 exploration properties (20 in British Columbia, eight in the Yukon and two in the Northwest Territories), many under active joint venture. He says one way to look at Eagle Plains is that its current price gives it nothing for its most advanced project, Copper Canyon, which has a formal resource of 2.86 million ounces of gold, plus silver and copper counts, and which is being pushed aggressively by a well-financed partner -- NovaGold Resources Inc. Mr. Casey says that with everything Eagle Plains has going for it, he sees little downside in the company; the upside could be a three-bagger or better based on Copper Canyon alone. NovaGold may or may not pull off their plans for a mine at Galore Creek, but it is pouring millions into it without hesitation. "We should know by the end of the summer," he says
