Hey GregDogg. Things are chuggin along. still down or even. Qbid even, WGFL even, but kicked in the nuts on ADVK. lost 1/2 investment on that right now... holding to see what happens. Made a few mistakes by getting excited and jumping in at the wrong time. I guess it was a learning lesson. Need to control my excitement and not jump in on the run. either get in early or wait for the bottom....lol I think it will all workout over time though. Not going to buy anything else now till I see what happens with these. I know I will go overboard if I don't just play with this money first. I think I am going to take my securities course in the next couple months. I really enjoy the markets.

Thanks GregDogg. Makes me feel a bit better but I wanted to play more short term stuff. Oh Well. Guess patience is the name of the game. I still think it will go up.... All the DD I did looking into it made me buy it for a reason so not gonna question my decisions cause they aren't going my way right at the moment. Everything is destin for a pop someday. Just gotta wait.

Everybody thinks they can "play" short-term but unless your expierienced and at the computer all day, up at 6:30 you won't be able to do it...you'll end up chasing and losing money. For a new trader short-term should be 1 to 3 months. Medium term would be 3 to 7 months and long-term would be 7 to 12 months.... Posts: 1171 | From: B.C. CANADA | Registered: Feb 2004

Hey ,from beautiful Valemount B.C. just 200 miles north of Kamloops . Latest local paper has a company called Canadian Hydro Developers Inc. looking to invest in four or five small Hydro generating plants put on some of the small rivers near here. Its very close to the existing grid and there are no fish or wildlife problems with these areas. Kind of an interesting play. The symbol is KHD on the tse.
