ICP Solar Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: ICPR.OB, FRANKFURT: K1U.F), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of proprietary solar panels and products, today announced that it has signed a global licensing agreement with Energizer (NYSE: ENR). Under the terms of this agreement, Energizer, one of the world's largest manufacturers of primary batteries and flashlights, will grant ICP Solar the global rights to its trade name for solar-powered chargers and related products. The agreement, to run three (3) years, takes effect immediately.
"Teaming with Energizer is a very significant achievement for ICP Solar and speaks to both the high quality of our products as well as our reputation for technology innovation," said Sass Peress, CEO. "Energizer is a leader in providing portable power for numerous applications worldwide, and we are proud to be working with such an esteemed organization going forward. We will begin rolling out products in North America as soon as the third quarter and anticipate these sales will further bolster our financial performance heading into 2010. We plan to launch two dedicated websites - www.energizersolar.com and www.energizersolar.eu - later this year, as the international nature of this agreement is expected to provide immediate access to a host of new geographic markets. Energizer(R)-branded solar chargers will be sold in tandem with rechargeable batteries, serving the growing demand for renewable, portable power."
"We are pleased to enter into such an important strategic relationship with ICP Solar," said Danielle Kyriakos, Director of New Business Development of Energizer. "Energizer is committed to providing innovative solutions to power people's lives and we know that solar is a power application that consumers are looking for to help them Keep Going. We look forward to a long and productive partnership with ICP Solar."

Please do your own research, but here's my technical data. Bollinger bands aren't telling us too much, but the Stochastic Oscillator and Williams %R indicate that the stock is oversold. This usually means that the stock is setting up for an increase under normal conditions, this is even without the press release.
Technical charting shows positive information for this stock, imo. Oh and 52 week low was .10/share, we're still pretty close to that.
Volume has been ridiculously low in the past, but I would expect that to drastically change today. Low volume probably drove the price down below where it's supposed to be (even pre-PR).
If volume picks up, this thing is flying.

Up 16% to .14, volume is 15 times the average. Still needs more volume, though, to REALLY drive the price up.

Volume is 47 times higher than the average. Sitting at .16/share, up 33%. Lots of buyers at .16, no one undercutting the ASK price (Thankfully). Getting the attention it needs today, and MAY have a big day or week next week.

Up 45.83% on the day to .175/share. Volume still moving higher. 63 times higher than the rolling average. We've gotten four ticks at the .175 price. sellers are still not undercutting the ASK price. Definitely one to research, this lost a lot of value over the past months due to lack of volume. They're going to sell solar panels under the Energizer name.

Taking a dip to .16/share. May be a good entry point IF AND ONLY IF anyone has been looking for one.
Do your own research, please.

You're right about finances. Looking for a good 2-3 day run on this based on PR. The release is good and any association with a major brand is great for penny stocks. Maybe they'll turn their finances around in the future, but who cares. Just give me a good 2-3 days ICP solar, thats all I ask. [Wink]
