All though retail was sluggish this holiday season I have read that electronics performed pretty well. So I think this beaten up stock has lots of potential in the coming year!!

I agree lets see what happens with that! The chart looks like it may dip next week if there wasn't news coming out monday. If they post bad #'s might as well wait until this hits all time lows. I'll be watching

This is exactly why I did not own any going into today. They should of announced this earlier instead of shocking everyone the same day.

seems to be setting up for a little pop...or a little drop. I am averaged in at .94 with a stop loss * .83

Syntax-Brillian (BRLC) Files Chapter 11; Sells Assets 7:18 AM EDT July 8, 2008 Syntax-Brillian Corporation (Nasdaq: BRLC) entered into an asset purchase agreement to sell certain of its assets to a newly-created company, Olevia International Group, LLC, which is under common ownership with TCV Group.
Concurrent with this announcement, Syntax-Brillian filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
