Does anyone have any furthur info on Datapath (like how to buy it or when it will be available) I worked with their equipment for 7 months in Iraq and kept asking the contractors when they were going public b/c I was very impressed by their product. Basically their equipment can handle 4 X the traffic as the military equivalent for 1/4 the cost. Thanks and good luck.

you should be able to buy it through any online broker (i.e choicetrade, scottrade, tda, etc...) as for the IPO date? i'm unsure... still reading and researching...

however... in the s-1, it says it was aquired by DPI Holdings, i have not looked for anything on them. The risk factors in the s-1 does make me a bit nervous and hesitant...

JRB... are you sure thats what the public symbol will be? they didn't list the exchange they were listing on or the symbol in the s-1(but i may have overlooked it). i havn't really tried looking anything up lately either...
i was waiting for some others to finally "bite" on this

I tried several sites until I found it. I went to marketwatch and typed in datapath and that symbol came up. There isn't much information, other than the company name and when the symbol was created.
I sent an email to the IR department this afternoon and haven't heard back yet. I'm sure they will respond on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I agree. I don't think this is the symbol. I think it is an hold symbol from way back in June. However, the company match is perfect. I sent an email to the company and haven't heard back yet.
Not sure why. Does some else want to try to email them and ask. Maybe it was my tone.

Datapath finally got in touch with me. Here's the info. I will email him back with possible symbol, but I would expect that they haven't got it yet.

We filed a Registration Statement in September and continue to work with the SEC to finalize that at which point we would be a public company, expected to be on the NASDAQ. This process does NOT anticipate us currently raising capital as an IPO. The expected/projected timing to be public is late Q1 or early Q2 2007.

Doesn't sound like they will be doing an IPO. Just as JRB was saying. Gotta wait till they go public. Be interesting to see how they set the price. Wouldn't mind having a relative working there right now though. LOL
