STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Cadence Financial Corp. said Friday its stock will be listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market starting Dec. 28.

The company's "NBY" ticker on the American Stock Exchange will continue until the market close on Dec. 27. The stock will then be listed as "CADE" on Nasdaq.

Shares of Cadence rose 47 cents, or 2 percent, to close at $21.93 on the American Stock Exchange.
