Ocean Bio-Chem, Golf Galaxy, China GrenTech and BackWeb Trade Heavier Than Usual


NEW YORK (AP) -- The following companies showed unusually heavy volume in Tuesday afternoon trading on the Nasdaq. Higher-than-normal volume can indicate increased activity by institutions such as mutual funds and insurance companies. Upward stock movement on such volume can show increased confidence among investors, while selling can signal pressure on a stock.

American depositary shares of China GrenTech Corp. Ltd. traded almost 17 times more than usual, with 1.4 million shares changing hands, on no immediately available news.

GRRF often moves in sympathy with EFUT. Given EFUTs huge move today, I'd keep a close eye on GRRF tomorrow.
