Do you DD these things before posting? Your last post was claiming an arbitrage opportunity on another stock dealing with a dividend, and that was innaccurate.

What do you mean by not accurate? I never mentioned the word arbitrage in my last post. Explain why the info is inaccurate when I am reading off of company released news and officially filed documents with SEC.

I don't deal with penny stock.

There is a $4 dividend, this may be a good one to keep an eye on!

What is better? Wait until I receice the dividend or forget the dividend and short the stock on the highest point which should be the ex-dividend date. Any opinion? I am riding the nice little run toward ex-dividend date. Question is what to do on the date.

If you short the stock you will owe the $4 dividend to whoever you sodl the stock to. there is no standard play on dividends or else everyone would do it.

Hero, relax. Coming onto a new board with a quote at the bottom of your posts saying "Don't blame me for getting too rich" while not understanding the basics of dividends is not going to earn you any friends.

Asking questions is totally acceptable. "Recommending" a stock and then asking how it works is annoying to many.

I don't know of a specific link, but if you do a google search on the subject I'm sure you'll find something. But honestly you shouldn't need confirmation, it's just common sense, or like I said, everyone would just short a stock the day before it pays a dividend.

Take care, and ignore Repo, he's the resident grumpy old man, but you'll get more responses like his if you keep posting the way you are.

Thanks for your advice PCola. I followed Oxford Club advice for the past four years and made decent amount of money. However, it seems that they only rise to give around 30% return a year. I want more. I made a lot better with writing a sell call option on reliable dividend paying stocks I own(i.e. AHM, BAC, PDS and ACAS) this year. I never shorted any stocks before. I wanted to hear some opinions.

This Repoman dude,(an obvious bitter man), talking arbtrage and all trash talk without giving opinion on my previous post. He must have his house repossessed or something in the past. Don't take it on me. I am here to help you. Like I said, I will offer you free meal if you come to Los Angeles area.

You can short EMMS in various ways. You can short day after the ex-dividend date. Sell into the major slide and cover at the bottom-typically around 2pm. Or you can buy put for December on Ex-dividend date and close the option couple of days after.
Any other idea? Key word here is idea. Not an anguish or ignorant bitter statement like someone.

Again, the question was if there were any ideas pertaining to play this stock to make money. It was not weather my handle fits the description of me. Everyone's Hero is a title of an animation which my two year old son fell in love with.
