i also like MIG bucks, have had a position for awhile now.
not surprisingly really, since except for your sadly misguided allegiance to the scarlet and gray, we often agree on things!
i thought their last Q was quite good, surprised this thing can't even sniff book value. RTWI is a similar company am also invested in, with similarly stagnant stock price so far. i can be patient though, am going to continue to hold both.

If they keep beating earning estimates and continue to grow it WILL eventually get noticed. This is a stock with very low risk IMO.

another good Q for MIG, and more expansion indications: finally moved up to 6-range, new 52-week high close yesterday. still holding this one and the other insurance one RTWI; RTWI has also moved up to 12-range.
both are boring maybe and won't rocket up, but - i like them both: slow and steady is fine with me.

I just worry about how low the volume is for trading. I try to stay away from anything with less than 400,000 in daily volume.

surprised to see this one back in the 6.80's, after trading well into the 7's recently. just added a little more.

Blue, what's your EOY prediction for this? I'm looking to balance my pinkies with some good 20% - 50% returns over the year in more stable stocks.

sitting in the 7.30's, my hope is that MIG would move to 7.70+ range tomorrow, and hopefully continue on into the 8's later this year if they continue to turn in good results.
honestly though, i doubt you'd get 20-50% returns from MIG in a year. it's mainly pretty slow and steady. has definitely been a very nice anchor to complement some of my other riskier picks - glad i added last week.

disappointing day for MIG: only up in the 7.40's on what i thought was a good Q, i honestly thought it'd move up more.

strange delayed reaction: finally moved up to the 7.75 range i was hoping for, after actually being down for parts of yesterday. just sold the swing position i bought last week at 6.85 because was somewhat overweighted in MIG, but - still holding my long position, looks solid to me.

actually touched 8.50 today, new 52-week high. still holding long position, wish would have held swing position longer, d'oh!

still holding long position, but - starting to look close to fairly valued here. MIG has been a favorite of mine for quite awhile, but - honestly, am surprised it ran up this far this fast.

held this one for 18 months or so, but - as disclosure - finally sold it at 11 today. still a great company IMHO, but - just struck me that it was fairly valued.
if history is any indicator, MIG should now promptly march to 30.
