1. Arete wants to acquire participating interests in traditional oil and gas development projects, primarily of overlooked and by-passed reserves of oil and natural gas in the Western Hemisphere. It is also looking to purchase non-operating positions in producing fields with the possibility of additional in-field development. The Group is currently working with an expanding base of oil and gas prospect generators, independent energy developers and private and institutional investors.
2. Arete received a Letter of Intent with a $25K non-returnable deposit to acquire a Florida Oil and Gas company last week and filed their 10K. Florida is a hot topic in the oil and NG arena because Cuba will now be drilling off the Florida coast for China and Florida legislation is debating whether to start drilling.
3. With the filing of their 10K the E will come off within days making this an "E Play"
4. Anticipation of disclosure regarding the merger will give Arete a new base IMO.
5. Arete had already found a bottom at .004 and has been active the last few months because of alternative energy speculation. Good luck!
