FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - April 24, 2006 - Ener1 Inc (OTCBB: ENEI), an alternative energy company, announced that it is scheduled to present at the RedChip Small Cap Investor Conference on Friday, April 28th at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Ulrik Grape, president of Ener1's lithium-ion battery company, EnerDel, and Rex Hodge, president of its fuel cell company, EnerFuel, will discuss their strategies to commercialize Ener1's technologies for emerging battery and fuel cell markets. Ener1's senior executive management team of Chairman Charles Gassenheimer, Interim CEO Ronald Stewart and CFO Jerry Herlihy will also provide information on the Company's progress and plans.
