Concurrent Computer Corporation is a provider of computer and software systems for both the video-on-demand (VOD), market through the VOD division (formerly the Xstreme division) and the real-time operating systems/productivity tools market. The VOD division provides VOD systems consisting of hardware and software, as well as integration services, primarily to residential cable companies, which have upgraded their networks to support interactive, digital services. The Real-time Operating Division provides high-performance, real-time computer systems to commercial and government customers for use in applications, such as simulation and data acquisition. Prior to January 2005, the Company serviced these markets through two divisions: a VOD division and an Integrated Solutions division (ISD). The Company merged these two divisions in January 2005. The Company also offers customer support services and custom engineering and integration to its customers.
