Sometimes the AM gap is so much that it kills buys, and then after awhile the share price (half hour, etc). I've seen stocks recover from that and start running mid-day, it all depends.

Noone KNOWS that a stock will gap, but from watching the day and if there is a good late PR out, then most likely it will gap up. So if it gaps, yes it's good, very good, if you previously own it the day before.

Jel, i saw a "rule of thumb" posted about gappers once; seemed reasonable at the time...do you happen to know that? Seems like it was da Dog or K-train's post....???

It should be 86'ed..agreed.

manana..still working on it. Have you seen my CDIC, I never posted a seperate thread. Little gains everyday. (One of my cheap Nasdaq'ers..got in at 1.22 and it's keeps upticking!)
