> SAN DIEGO, Sept. 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Who's Your Daddy, Inc. (OTCBB:WYDY) announced that the Company has received purchase orders from two national chain convenience stores for its new-to-market 'King of Energy' drink. This news follows a press release issued last week which announced that the Company sold out of its initial production of the beverage in just five days to a San Diego distributor.
The first national chain purchase order was for 6,500 cases of the energy drink, which will be distributed throughout 300 stores located in North and South Carolina. This is only the first of a three-tiered distribution plan which includes branching out to 500 stores and finally to an all-store buy for 3,700 locations nationwide.
Who's Your Daddy, Inc. has also received a purchase order for 6,000 cases of its energy drink, which will be distributed through a second chain of national convenience stores in Michigan. Initially, 320 locations in the Detroit area will receive the beverage, with an anticipated expansion to the chain's 16,000 stores. Edon Moyal, CEO of Who's Your Daddy, stated, "Who's Your Daddy will be going on a cross-country tour over the next six months promoting the Who's Your Daddy 'King of Energy' drink. During the tour, Who's Your Daddy, Inc. will be visiting nationwide distributors, introducing them to the new line of Who's Your Daddy-branded products."
Mr. Moyal continued, "As a company, we intend to focus on licensing the Who's Your Daddy name as aggressively as possible, though the energy drink is an exception to this strategy. The 'King of Energy' beverage is an in-house production and we intend to market it on a national basis as one of the best energy drinks available, which we believe it is."
