ever hear the saying Buy on rumor and sell on Fact... that's probably what happened here... it got pumped and dumped.. and you as with others were left holding the bag.. anyways yesterday and today the stock ended in Doji's (for those who follow candlestick charts) which indicate indecision...

i still hold ALMI in roth and also a few coverdell accounts, holding long.

i would disagree with a "pump and dump" characterization, personally. not to imply that you are saying that, but - actually i would personally take offense mach, if you were suggesting that me, purl, and bingo were pump and dump zombies. i stand by my posting history of fair, honest, and balanced stock commentary; and the posts of purl and bingo speak for themselves.

the issues have been heavily discussed in other threads, but in a nutshell my feeling is that the current dip is caused by a lack of news of clay sales. jacobson could have taken the "traditional route" and sold to make plates and tea cups, but - he instead chose to hold out for nano-sales. it is going to take time for applications and sales to develop, and most OTC investors are impatient with short attention spans. the only PR's these days are about natural nano conferences, which aren't going to generate any excitement.

i have zero plans to sell any ALMI shares, honestly i don't even check the share price on a daily basis. i feel comfortable with the risks involved, and i have no problem continuing to hold long. the story is not over yet, i am more interested in where ALMI stands 2-3 years out than where they stand next week. as stated in other ALMI threads, my personal opinion is that sales will come in time, and that in the long run ALMI will do quite well. but, of course i could be wrong, that's just my opinion. we'll see how it goes.

I don't recall saying anyone in particular are pumper/dumpers... but i do recall there could be other pumper/dumpers on the horizon which can affect the price... to say it doesn't in pennyland is not being realistic and to think that a pennystock will become a mainstream stock is also unrealistic.. as for everyone's stock commentaries on this site.. i take them with a grain of salt.. people on this site follow other's stock tips too much and that is why most do not make any money.. they will tell you their winning trades but rarely will tell you their losing trades which are more likely then not a bigger percentage then their winning trades.. i gave my opinion on this stock just like you did and i could be wrong... but like you said.. that is just my opinion... I don't see much profit in halloysite clay ... but if he wanted to show #'s he should of sold it for Fine China and such instead of Nano... so my opinion is this stock will remain in pennyland and never climb out otherwise... but i could be wrong and im not a investor only a trader so i wouldn't care of it's long term prospects... good luck though...
