Watching lizards, you know they are very impulsive
and not real bright. This is why they are so easy
to catch and a favorite food of cats.

As many know, our frontal cortex is responsible
for logical analytical thinking, and the rest
of our brain is impulsive; the Lizard Brain.

We rarely use our frontal cortex region, and
if you are thirty-five years old or older, you
are inherently using your logical cortex, less
and less with passing years.

Most of the time, your Lizard Brain is in control
leading to impulsive behavior which is developed
by repeating learned behavior, for better or worse.
We continue with behavior which worked previously.
However, that behavior may backfire next go around.

Here is an example.

Princeton performed a study which offered students
twenty dollars right now or twenty-five dollars
in one week. A majority, large majority, took the
twenty dollars, right now. That is Lizard Brain
thinking; irrational impulsive behavior.

Your Lizard Brain is what leads you to repeated
losses in the stock markets; you go for the quick
returns and do not think ahead.

I've a new book for you, the reader, which you
should buy and read without fail.

"Mean Markets & Lizard Brains" by Terry Burnham.

Buy it, read it, quit being a lizard.

That was not an iguana. That was a Lounge Lizard,
which live on a diet of Bar Flies and Stoolies.

Did you watch Dubya dancing over in Georgia?

Laura immediately took his arm and led him
off the dance floor!

I thought there might be a run on CNR with the
Bushies dropping by Georgia to piss off the Ruskies.
Looks the run came and went a day or two before
Dubya did a Texas Two Step to traditional Caucasus
music centuries ancient. I believe he confused
a chonguri with a guitar.

Yep.....'dya see that experienced cheer leader bouncin those hips! And the Texas House just passed a bill outlawing "dirty cheer leading". What kind of example is that for the kids back home?

Now tell me this....How can any kind of oil company stock not be doing ok with the current oil "shortage".........more particularly, how does CNR
bottom out?

CNR, formerly GUSH, operates in the Republic of
Georgia. A year back, or so, many investors were
worried about political instability not knowing
which way political winds would blow in Georgia.

Since then, democratic leanings have emerged. This
visit by Bush, the words spoken, confirm Georgia
is "west friendly" which alleviates some concerns
about the "state" taking over oil operations.

There was a good run on CNR for a couple of days
before his visit, with investors knowing his planned
schedule. However, recent bad corporate news from
CNR, appears to overshadow this good political
news, resulting from the Bush visit.

That is an example of logical thinking, classic
"connecting the dots" to benefit. Remember the
"Fly Me To The Moon" bandwagon created by Bush
when he falsely promised more government funds
for space research? Although he lied, naive
people, naive investors, started buying space
related stocks running up share value greatly.

Some of us "connected the dots" and made good
profits from Lizard Heads who acted impulsively
and ended up meals for smart cats.

Same principle with his visit to Georgia; he is
forming stronger ties to Georgia which adds more
"safety" for American companies over there, thus
stock value will increase.

Do you better understand my words, now?

You boys really should buy Burnham's book and
study it well. His approach to the stock markets
is one of careful analytical thinking, rather
than trend thinking or "fad" thinking.

Those who do really well at investing do so because
they use a system, use good analytical tools, use
good logical thinking, and avoid emotionalism.

Burnham writes of how to "think" to enhance your
abilities to profit from the markets. His book
is very different from typical investment books.

Buy and read his book. You will earn the purchase
price a thousand times over using what you learn.
