SAN ANTONIO, May 05, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SBC Communications Inc. (NYSE:SBC) and AT&T Corp. (NYSE:T) together have reached a services agreement under which Covad Communications Group Inc. (OTCBB:COVD) would extend broadband access to the merged companies, which would help the combined entity expand Internet protocol (IP) services, including voice-over-Internet-protocol (VoIP), out-of-region to consumers and businesses. The deal, effective upon completion of the SBC and AT&T merger, demonstrates the parties' commitment to promoting vigorous competition in the telecommunications industry among product and service providers.

i would say you are not too late seriously news like this is HUGE for a stock in the $1 range this annoucement alone is worth probly another $1 on top of todays gain at least in the short term
they may release more information on the partnership later to make the stock go even higher
your talking about 2 of 4 biggest telecommunications companies in the world just asked this company for help that to me says they are doing something right

looks like trading hasnt slowed down with the close of the market usually the aftermarket trading is INSANE one way or the other might wanna check back at 8pm this thing might be at 2.00 LOL

got mine at 1.40 ask was 1.395 but they filled me at 1.40 you gotta love mm. "NOT" my problem was Ive been watching covd for the last 3 months and missed it a 1.05. But todays news is great last time I held this I sold a $3.00 from 1.36 I hope were headed there =-)

I take that back I did get mine at 1.395 chalk it up for ameritrade. =-) tried to switch accounts to get some for my dad but time ran out will try tommorrow but we will see

hmmmmm....none of my tickers agree on th bid/ask again and its dropping.... i have three difernt set of quotes from three sources..i don't like this....

out this morning... but i'm watching closely... this doesn't make sense..but then what does? LOL 10% loss is much easier to make up than 20%....
