CRUDE surge will make inflation number surge. You will find IR hike bigger than we thought.

remember oil is high because the administration has been (they claim) acting to weaken the dollar.... look at gold... this is our little wager with China IMO.... -------------------- Don't envy the happiness of those who live in a fool's paradise.

yes CPI does com out tomorrow, and based on my shopping trips lately, i don't expect it to be good... BUT, i still think the market is strong, and we are showing better growth than Europe.... if the markets go down it'll be time to buy.... -------------------- Don't envy the happiness of those who live in a fool's paradise.

it's a security blanket... gold trades in US dollars so if you are worried about cash? you move to gold... BUT, there is a problem with China's yuan...the Chinese won't let the yuan trade freely, they "peg" it to the US$, so we can't compete on a level feild...the game is to force them to trade freely, so we are taking the dollar down...but it's not working blahblahblah -------------------- Don't envy the happiness of those who live in a fool's paradise.

I think gold stocks overbought in short term(not in mid term). a correction may come soon. If interest rate go high, it is not a good news for gold also.

gold stocks will go down. Maybe tommorow. If CPI number goes up, Gold stocks will also drop down with all other stocks. Think to short some.
