LOVELAND, Colo., March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Jerry Curtis, President of EagleSpan® Steel Structures, announced today the completion by EagleSpan of its erection of the largest aircraft hangar it has built to date in the U.S. The hangar, located at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida was built for FlightStar, a large aircraft maintenance facility and will accommodate aircraft as large as a commercial 767. The structure is 642 feet wide and 155 feet deep, with an eave height of 62 feet. It employs the single-span, patented EagleSpan® roof and sides that provides the maximum open space for operations. The hangar meets all International Building Codes as well as Florida codes, said Curtis.

The first structure, Hawaii bound, is slated for a late March delivery. LOVELAND, Colo., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- EagleSpan Steel Structures, Inc., of Loveland, Colorado has completed its engineering work for Phase One of the Southern Colorado Expo Center to be built in Fountain, Colorado, announced Jerry Curtis, President of EagleSpan. Phase One will include a 207,000-square-foot exhibition hall, a 9,000- square-foot mezzanine, a 40,000-square-foot, full-service steak and seafood restaurant and bar and a 75,000-square-foot arena. EagleSpan will provide the engineering and the steel beams for the structure's frame, which will feature EagleSpan's patented technology that enables the construction of large spaces uninterrupted by pillars.
Construction on Phase Two of the Expo Center is expected to begin in March 2006. Phase Two will encompass a youth outreach center, several pavilions including livestock pavilions, and an additional 75,000-square-foot arena.
