its getting downgraded from so many instituion and has terrible fundamentals yet it still rises. I own SIRI btw. In at 2.92...out at _____.... to bad I only bought 90 shares, because I was new last february and still am a noob pretty much. How is the price sustaing with such a mess?

I mark my "no buy" decision on this one as one of the biggest mistakes I have made. I was going to buy 5000 shares when it was 3.00. Today that would be worth 40,000. Oh well, I am a noob investor, what can I say
Even with 90 shares be happy
But to get at the original question, look at XM. The only other competitor is Sirius. This technology will only get bigger. I have a car with XM and will never own another car with such technology. It is a forward think/moving area.

Sell all but one share get the cert issued put it in a frame hang it on the wall. Take your money and go on vacation with us on the www.supercruise.net !

Even though it's great for those that resisted the temptation to sell I am still blown away by the fact that individuals are buying, and not selling at this point in time.
XM's CEO released a statement today that he felt XMSR's valuation was appropriate. I think it's simply nuts. Good luck to those that are willing to leave all of their money on the table at this point in time.
All of the euphoria is scary. When everyone is overly elated is the time one should consider heading for the exit.

DJ Toyota To Offer Sirius, XM Satellite In Models >SIRI XMSR
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (SIRI) announced a deal with Toyora Motor Corp. (TM) to supply its satellite radio in nine models beginning in February.
Separately, XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (XMSR) also announced a similar agreement to install its satellite-delivered data services for Toyota vehicles.
Financial terms weren't disclosed for either deal.
In a press release Tuesday, Sirius said it will offer its system as both a post-production and dealer-installed option for Toyota's Camry, Solara, Land Cruiser, Lexus LS 430, Lexus ES 330, Lexus LX 470, Scion xA, Scion xB and Scion tC models.
A Sirius spokesman said Toyota customers can have Sirius installed at the dealership or before the vehicle comes to the dealer at the port of entry, known as the vehicle production center. There is no difference in price, added the spokesman.
Shares of Sirius traded recently at $8.95, up 86 cents, or 10.5%, on Nasdaq volume of 131.7 million shares. Average daily volume is 93.6 million shares.
Shares of XM Satellite traded recently at $38.54, up 80 cents, or 2.1%, on Nasdaq volume of 3.7 million shares. Average daily volume is 4.6 million shares.

on what business model does this PPS makes sense?..... i bought my first shares quite awhile ago.... i'm not bearish on the comapny, just amused at how "exuberant" investors are in this one... my "human" broker gave me a letter of non-solicitation when i bought my first shares....

low price? you cannot compare price directly. you should see their market capital. what if XMSR make a 1:3 or 1:4 split. Actually, XMSR is also too high.

and going higher as we speak. i just look at what is. charts. shows its going up. when it starts its downtrend then i'll make a decision . you can analyze the poop out of all the technical shtuff, but for me this looks good now.maybe it will correct itself or it might not. this could be for real. the money i am making is still green.

Anyway.Good luck. buddy. You should watch siri carefully. Cause any bad news could cause many others like you to "decide". The float of siri is more than 1 billion.
