Concierge Technologies Adds Fiori Exec Pat Rodden To Board Of Directors Following Acquisition of Planet Halo

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 2004--Concierge Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:CNCG) announced today that Pat Rodden has joined its board of directors, bringing an impressive array of skills and experience to the group. Mr. Rodden joins the board following the recent acquisition of Planet Halo, whose primary product, currently in prototype form, is a hand-held, wireless instant messaging device for email, browsing and cellular phone calls. The device, named the "Halo", is a fully interactive device with a QWERTY keyboard and color display. Planet Halo also holds exclusive North American rights to Halomail, a wireless messaging gateway that synchronizes contacts and email over the air. Other licensed versions of the gateway are currently operational in four other countries.

Prior to the acquisition of Planet Halo, Concierge Technologies had developed and marketed a finished product, the PCA, which exploits text-to-speech technology to "read" email over dial-up phone connections. Concierge is hoping to marry some aspects of its voice technology into the Planet Halo applications envisioned for future development.

Mr. Rodden will assume his duties immediately and join his fellow new board member Marc Angell, President of Planet Halo, in guiding the Company towards the commercialization of the Halo device and wireless gateway. Mr. Rodden has nearly two decades of unique experience developing products and strategies for leading consumer, sports, recreation and electronics companies. Rodden is a founding partner, director and head of operations for Fiori whose expertise has built the company into a leading consumer technology research and design firm that has garnered more than 25 international awards over the past 3 years alone, many on behalf of fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding Fiori in 1994, Mr. Rodden held various product development and program director positions at Virtual Vision, Precor, Paccar and Hughes. He graduated from California State University, Chico in 1984 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
