Just wanted to say hello to all my fellow future millionaires! I am a newbie and am extremely grateful to anyone with friendly advice. I recently signed with Etrade and have a $1000 account. Thanks in advance.

Joe

Can't do much with only 1000 bucks these days -- well, you "can", but it may take a while... Though, never invest more than you can afford to LOOSE!

Greetings. Best advice. Establish some trading rules for yourself and never....ever....break them. Such as, don't chase a stock....and don't be greedy. Playin' the pennies is kinda like cookin' microwave popcorn. When the poppin' slows down, get it out or it will get burned. Good Luck with it.

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for the advice. Hopefully, I'll learn early on the penny stocks and add to my bankroll from time to time. What type of stocks interest you? How long have you been trading?

Joe

Hey Dardadog,
Thanks for the great advice. E trade is charging me $9.99 per trade right now but I don't know how long it will last. How did you get started and how do you know what stocks to watch for that particular day?

Joe

I play momentum mostly. If it's movin', I'm on it. Everyone has a system. Mine works pretty well. A group of sites that I use regularly to crossreference to very quickly.

Joe,
ClearStation web site has a screener where you can check the best volume gainers and best overall gains for the day... you could load up the web site when the market opens, and refresh throughout the day when you have time. try this: http://tinyurl.com/386gq (that's the link to the ClearStation web site)

Hello TenaciousDoll,
I'm going to check out that website right now. Thank you very much.
