I still don't understand. We all know what Q's are but....

How can they launch a satellite if they are going bankrupt? I'm still lost on the potential part.

Sorry to ruffle you Keith only an opinion (potential). I did mistake the directv part. It is actually XM. Boeing lost the contract and LORAL SPACE got it. Also Shin Satellite, Plc of Thailand

Not forcing you to sell all and buy this.

How can Airlines fly, how can car dealers produce? They are going bankrupt also.

NEW YORK, June 9 (Reuters) - XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (XMSR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday said it would sell about 9.7 million common share for about $300 million, which may be used to accelerate its deployment of new satellites.

Monday July 25, 6:06 pm ET

NEW YORK, July 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Loral Space & Communications Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: LRLSQ - News) today announced that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York has confirmed Loral's Plan of Reorganization, paving the way for the company to conclude its chapter 11 reorganization. Loral currently expects that, after it satisfies customary regulatory and certain other conditions, including obtaining FCC approval, its Plan of Reorganization will become effective and the company will emerge from chapter 11 early in the fourth quarter of 2005.
*******************************
It goes on in greater detail about the company and is an interesting read. I'm not sure how I got here, but the fact is there is more Due Diligence to be performed. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm [Roll Eyes]
