I show an average volume of less than twenty thousand per day with no recent changes worthy of note. Where did you find these stats on volume indicating sudden interest?
I read this stock being promoted on a lot of message boards, especially Silicon Investors.
Those messages I read, contain no supporting data nor information with which to work.

Greater China has not filed with the SEC since 1999. Nothing there to read which is current and pertinent for today.
Haven't found anything of recent date through internet searches.
Online brokerages have no fundamental data on this company.
What data do you hold, which you could share, which indicates a press release will be forth coming next week? It would be nice of you to cite or provide some data for readers, which can be verified.
Should we buy this stock based on nothing but posted rumors?
Participants here are well known for their careful research and investigation. You could help us out by providing data to be verified.

Gurl-there will be a press release out in a few days to help with the dd. The data that is current can be fond on pinksheets.com (company info) and knobias.com . Investor relation at jon.ir@greaterchinacorp.com has much info. Unigel.com is the main subsidary located in China-been there 13 years. IR says revenues up 30% from last year and still improving.

Other than typical ticker tape stats, that is it; no information is available on this China company, none to be found through usual sources.
Do you have a source for readers to use which displays typical 10Q type information for the past several years?
I am very curious how you know a press release will be coming out next week.
I remain curious about your volume statement and indications of high investor interest.
I am not one to buy without reliable hard data to examine and digest. Perhaps others will buy without knowing anything about this company.

Jon.IR@greaterchinacorp.com can fill in the blanks. A press release in the coming week will reveal more much needed information about this company. The company intends to release unaudited 10q for the last quarter in first part of jan., IR says numbers will be very good. I trust ir person, you can follow your instincts. Only thing about waiting to buy is the coming news prices the shares higher.

You still have not addressed my question about your comment on changes in volume indicating increased investor interest.
To be sure I understand, GCHC has advised you a financial statement is forthcoming and has provided you with data from that release, well before this news is to be released to the general public. Is this correct?
Back in December of 2001, GCHC released this statement to the public:
"...management believes it now has the resources to restore its audits and SEC filings and to provide shareholders with regular reports on operations and results. After several years of lacking funds for these corporate services, the Company should now be able to restore its standing as a regularly reporting company, and is attempting to do so with the assistance of its auditors and legal counsel."
Two full years have passed, still no SEC filings since 1999 nor any press releases.

What I do know about this company is postings periodically appear promoting this stock, such as in November and again this December. This promotion posting has a long history dating back to at least 1996.
Associated with each posting promotion, is a small rise in price, a sell off and a fall in price. This pattern has been repeated for many years, which can be independently verified.
What comments would you share about this information I have provided to readers?

You are absolutely correct in your assesment of the past. That is why I do not use TA etc for my dd, I watch insider trading (no selling in GCHC), dilution (GCHC still has 30M OS), no P&D with GCHC or there would have been tons of pr's and does company have a quality product with revs going higher-GCHC does. I believe-others may soon wish they bought at these levels.

The end result is the same, no news, no developments, no filings, no volume, etc. If you can show me something timely-ANYTHING timly and relevant then I'm on your side. Can you???

I do not blame you for not wanting facts, SEC filings or just some news. Since trust has been abused by many charlatans I understand you completely. Volume and price moves will follow ANY concrete news-I know that but in the mean time I took the time & expense to fly to hdqtrs and meet with the CEO-it is my right as an investor. I have a right to see the financials. I know 98% of investors do NOT put this type of effort into ANY of their stock investments-they expect, and rightfully so-a 10q or 10k. But in the case of this company there are legit reasons for not filing. I am invested and KNOW this company is real. Time will tell.

Ok, Glassman, I will drop into your under ten cents a share board. I usually do not trade below ten cents a share. Nonetheless, I have four stocks now, all under .10 per.
I am somewhat encouraged. One of those stocks has already cleared me $600 in profit.
I will move CLSI over to your board.
However, first I have to purchase a round trip ticket to Hong Kong or China, somewhere over there, make hotel reservations and all that, so I can talk to the CEO of GCHC as this other person did. This seems a prudent move before investing in this stock. I mean, a trip to China should not consume too much of any profits I might make.
I also have tiny winged blue monkeys flying out of my big rearend, each harmoniously singing, "What A Fool Believes."

I think humor and stupidity are interchangeable in purl gurl's case. If her dd on GCHC shows headquarters in China then the comics are not the only place to find a real chuckle. Try One Rockerfeller Plaza, Suite 1600, NY,NY or phone 212-765-4547 and speak with the CEO-might be worth the effort.
