"The agreement calls for us to undertake an on-site engineering study, which is scheduled to commence in January 2004, to develop the blueprint for a national telecommunications network based on ARC System technology and deployment. This will be followed by the execution of a contractual commitment for the delivery, installation and deployment of four (4) ARC Systems. We have been advised that, based upon the strength of earlier presentations made to Government representatives and various telecommunications regulators, which were strongly supported by the U.S. Department of Commerce and local U.S. Embassy representatives, a national telecommunications license has been approved and is expected to be issued shortly. The license is predicated on the use of PLFM’s airborne wireless communications technology."
This is only one of several projects presented on www.plfm.net in the newsletters.

The project in question will bring in significant revenue for the first time for PLFM, which will range from $120 to $320 million, depending on which system is purchased. That will result in a pretty nice move for a penny stock.

Visit www.plfm.net and read the news and newsletters:
"The contract between PICTEL and AMERICEL, which is conditional on the performance by Platforms of a successful ARC System BETA Demonstration in Brazil in the 4th Quarter of 2000, is for a ten-year lease of up to five (5) ARC Systems. The first ARC System contract value is USD$60 million, and the total contract value is USD$330 million for five systems. The Contract includes product licenses, maintenance and operations fees, as well as a gross revenue sharing partnership in the new technology. This makes Platforms the first company in airborne wireless communications to achieve a revenue-sharing partnership with a major Brazilian telecommunications service provider."
Platforms failed to receive this contract, and any other significant project so far, but this news will give you an idea of the potential revenue.
