HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/01/10 -- SatMAX Corporation (PINKSHEETS: SATM), a leading global provider of wireless, non-line-of-sight satellite communications products and services announced today that it has received its second order from the U. S. Navy for a SatMAX® satellite communications repeater system. The new hangar-installed satellite data communications repeater will be located at the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) in Patuxent River, MD.

The SatMAX® equipment will be used at NAWC to test Iridium-based communications and avionics. With this order, the Navy has expanded the usage of SatMAX® repeaters from voice communications over handheld satellite telephones to data transfer and testing of aircraft avionics. The SatMAX® repeater allows aircraft maintenance teams to discontinue towing aircraft from hangars to establish a line of sight to communications satellites in order to test satellite-based aircraft avionics systems. The Navy intends to use the NAWC installation as a prototype bringing cost reducing, patented SatMAX technology to advanced aircraft maintenance strategies.

Unlike direct satellite communications links, the patented SatMAX repeater system overcomes signal negation from structures and the need to locate in a directional area to communicate with orbiting satellites. This Stock is on a steady upward movement Last Week went up 15 cents from .19 Monday to.34 Friday!!!

SATM action Yesterday

SATM opened at 0.36 and reached a high of $0.38 within the first 15 minutes of trading. The strong volume helped the stock maintain its gains and managed to hit its high a few times throughout the day. But the session high represented a strong selling point causing the stock to fall to a low of $0.32. The stock managed to move modestly higher to close at $0.33. The stock is still within its uptrend so it’s fine; just manage the trade properly using the low of Friday as a stop loss.
