There is tremendous interest in and demand for their product. LENF just had a nice run to $6.00 in the same sector, but it remains to be seen whether it will stay there. I'm by no means an expert on the game yet, but when you're dealing with these penny stocks it's often the potential of the product that matters more than revenue and profit. The trick is to get in at the ground level, and that is likely going to be long before profits are made. That's why it is so risky and not recommended for most investors. Don't put anything into a penny stock that you're not willing to lose.

I understand that I would never put all my eggs into the penny basket. Just curious as to how often a company does like tasr and makes a big run

It is supply and demand, and a lower float...ex: TASR 20mil has alot to do with "explosive" growth.
That's one reason I try to not buy anything over 100mil float preferably in a penny, because A reverse split may be necessary to go to a bigger board. A reverse split, except in the rare case usually hurts the stock, and loses trust in the company.

Lately the major gainers have been ISON, UGHO, LENF, ADSX..remains to be seen if these can one day do what Tasr did.
ADSX was an otcbb stock only 6-8 mths ago, did a reverse split and went onto nasdaq. Looks to be a future major player in RFID.
Another way that "pennies" can grow to be big stocks is through reverse mergers with other companies or being a takeover target.
IMO potential is very good for pennies, especially sec pennies. This is where alot of new technology gets it's beginnings.
The hard part is distinguishing the "real" deal from the "hype".

Sgt.,

I like the way you are thinking, however I play the game different (and I will probably be blasted for this). I don't care if the stock goes up from pennies to dollars AND STAYS THERE. As long as I get out before it comes back down. I am in this not to hold long, I am in this to have the stock go up and me get out with profit. NOW, to re-phrase your question: What stock has the potential to go up on a run like TASR, AMUL, LENF, ISON, etc.? Tell me when it is low so I can buy and then sell when I am comfortable.

And Yes, I am looking hard into what all of the people on this board talk about. I think you get more honest opinions (and not just bash and pumps) on this board than you will anywhere else. Keep up the good work guys.

I think MRKL is well positioned and has a lot of potential. I'm keeping my eye on it. You should do a search on this board for MRKL. I'm sure it's being discussed a good bit.

If you believe in it's long term potential average down after it hits it's bottom. If you are thinking short term for MRKL, protect your money 1st...even if it means selling at a small loss, and buying back after the full drop off. The thing with pennies is without news they drop, so unless you bought the pennystock at rock bottom price, you can expect it to drop if it has a lack of news. MRKL just came off of a flurry of prs, and had a recent runup.
It is possible that it will lose more share value if no new news is forthcoming.

JMHO,
Sarah

You can check a stocks support and resistance levels at www.investorguide.com
just put in symbol and click on opinion.
It is very useful for helping to gage when to buy in and when to get out.
I have found that most pennies after a "run-up" will trend back to their supposrt levels and sometimes below that. I tell you this because I lost a good deal of money this year believing in the "long term" possibilities of a pennystock. Now I know to find them when no on else wants them, that way you get them much cheaper and if you know they have good potential they will run again.

Hope this helps,
Sarah
