the real chit here is that they went itno Chapter 11 in 2004. they waited 7 years and 1 month and went into chapter 11 again this year....
i beleive the law is that you must wait 7 years to into Chapter 11 again..they prolly barely made it the 7 years they needed...
it's bad management, not unions that destroyed this brand.
the fact is they need to be broken up this ain't JUST twankeys dude, they own about 7 or eight differnt bread brands- most likely? you have at least on of their bread products in your pantry now...
i checked, and found three in mine, and i had no idea they were all under the Hostess umbrella..

Right, but my point was the union was going to FINE you....fines as in forcing you to pay a financial penalty for the freedom to chose if you wanted to go into work or not. That does not bother you? Because that just doesnt happen here it happens in a lot of other organizations.
We can debate all day how evil the owners and leaders are of any business, but pushing around the poor and imposing fines if they do not do your will is wrong.

i don't play in that sandbox. get it? the unions ultimately look out for their members interests... whenthey don't/ they go away just like this dinosaur of company...
twinkies are not even food for crying out loud.. people take them out of fallout shelters from the fifties adn unwrap them and eat them.. they taste the same... they are in the same exact condition after 50 years as they are on the dya they are made.... that is not food....
