Bush-Appointed Federal Judge Sends Racist, Anti-Obama Email Comparing Interracial Sex To Bestiality

By Ian Millhiser on Mar 1, 2012 at 9:00 am

Chief Judge Richard Cebull, a George W. Bush appointee to the federal district court in Montana, admitted yesterday to sending a racist email forward comparing President Obama’s conception to sex with a dog:

“A little boy said to his mother; ‘Mommy, how come I’m black and you’re white?’” the email joke reads. “His mother replied, ‘Don’t even go there Barack! From what I can remember about that party, you’re lucky you don’t bark!’” [...]

Cebull said his brother initially sent him the email, which he forwarded to six of his “old buddies” and acquaintances.

He admitted that he read the email and intended to send it to his friends.

“The only reason I can explain it to you is I am not a fan of our president, but this goes beyond not being a fan,” Cebull said. “I didn’t send it as racist, although that’s what it is. I sent it out because it’s anti-Obama.“

Cebull’s email is inexcusable, and his explanation for sending it only makes things worse. At best, Cebull has admitted that he despises President Obama so much that he lacks the ability to exercise basic judgment when confronted with an opportunity to insult the president. This hardly a suitable trait in a man whose sole job duty is to exercise judgment.

Worse, Cebull’s poor judgment does not simply compromise his own reputation, it also undermines the very integrity of our legal system. Federal judges hear many, many race discrimination cases, and a good judge will deem many of these cases lacking in merit and rule that no discrimination took place. Every time Cebull does so — or has done so in the past — is now tainted by the question of whether his decisions were rooted in the law or in his own racial animus.

Nor does Cebull’s claim to not hate black people, only our black president, make the situation any better. Federal judges are also called upon to evaluate the legality of a president’s actions at times — often in highly charged and controversial cases. Every time Cebull is asked to judge the Obama Administration is now also tainted.

It’s not at all clear how Cebull can remain on the bench in light of this taint. The legitimacy of the law depends upon litigants being able to trust the unbiased motives of the men and women entrusted with judging. Cebull’s actions strike directly at the heart of that trust. [Mad]

Its time for our president to stop playing nice guy and get rid of theses type of people. Once they put there name on this type of email, they don't belong in Goverment service federal or State.

New forms of racism are alive and well. You should see how bad it is in California between the blacks and hispanics. Asians on blacks, blacks against asians.

Very true. The tension between the Somali community and the Ethiopian community is large up here. The two gangs that are the most active are actually Latino and Hmong. White men don't hold a monopoly on discrimination based on Race, but that doesn't let us off the hook either.

I never see any other forms of racism other than that on MSNBC. Its always white on black. If they were so cultured, aware, and cared they would at some point in time address the rabid acceleration of racism amongst other ethnic groups as well. All this talk about "lean forward" and "leap forward" yet no discussion of say how awful new forms of racism that are coming out are.

Its not politically cool to address those. Much easier to take whacks at Bush, or his appointees as if Bush told them to say something stupid.

why do say "new"? there's nothing new about racism, it's never been exclusive to any race. the Egyptians were doing it, the persian and the Arabs were doing it, even amongst Asain ethnic groups there's racism against each otehr. China was several different ethnicities before the Chin dynasty unifed them before Christ....

Sixth Advertiser — Carbonite — Drops Limbaugh Despite His ‘Apology’ Because He’s Beyond The ‘Bounds Of Decency’

By Faiz Shakir on Mar 3, 2012 at 7:57 pm

Moments ago, Carbonite – a company providing backup software for computers – announced that it will no longer advertise on Rush Limbaugh’s show. CEO David Friend made clear in a Facebook statement that, despite Limbaugh’s “apology” issued tonight, the company was still pulling its ads because it wants to “contribute to a more civilized public discourse”:

No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke, and I have two, could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady. Mr. Limbaugh, with his highly personal attacks on Miss Fluke, overstepped any reasonable bounds of decency. Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.

Indeed, evidencing the point made by Friend, Limbaugh’s “apology” is riddled with offensive statements, comparing contraception to “sneakers” and implying that birth control is only a subsidy for personal sexual activity.

According to a ThinkProgress count, Carbonite is the sixth company to drop Limbaugh in the last couple of days. We will continue to keep an updated count HERE

I know that glass, I am talking about new to America. For example, growing immigrant communities in American that were never there before, say 20 years ago. Does that make sense?

George Will Blasts GOP Candidates’ Meek Response To Rush: ‘They Want To Bomb Iran, But They’re Afraid Of Limbaugh’

By Judd Legum on Mar 4, 2012 at 1:54 pm

This morning on ABC, prominent conservative columnist George Will blasted the Republican leadership’s meek response to Rush Limbaugh’s sexist attacks on Sandra Fluke. Will mocked Speaker John Boehner for calling Rush’s language “inappropriate ” as comically weak, noting “using a salad fork for your entree, that’s inappropriate.”

Will also attacked the GOP presidential candidates timid response: “They want to bomb Iran, but they’re afraid of Rush Limbaugh

If I was the type that would like to share a racial slur my respect fo my work and my title would not allow me to. You take public funds for doing a job you act the part and mind youself. And never forget who you represent.

By msnbc.com staff and wire reports

And then there were nine. AOL Corp. became the latest sponsor to suspend ads on Rush Limbaugh's radio show after the conservative shock-jock last week called a Georgetown University law student a "slut" and a "prostitute" for supporting wider availability to contraceptives.

"At AOL one of our core values is that we act with integrity. We have monitored the unfolding events and have determined that Mr. Limbaugh’s comments are not in line with our values. As a result we have made the decision to suspend advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Radio show," AOL saidMonday in a brief statement on its Facebook page. AOL was not immediately available to comment.

people like limbugger and beck (who often claims he is non-partisan [Confused] ) and hannity are waht's really killingthe GOP.

i can't support my party if this is going to be the norm.sure, bring up 2nd ammendment stuff, and the extreme waste and abuse we see in Govt, and i am back to being a GOP, but trying to force issues, like contraception just won't bring me or any other moderates to teh polls for a GOP...

i don't see the contraception issue as impinging on religious rights. insurance is and always has been a socialistic mecahanism, you spread the risk. limbugger got caught coming back from the Dominican Republic with viagra that was apparently not prescription. the Dominican Republic is (in)famnous for catering to unusual sexual tastes....

note this Article is from long before limbugger got caught coming home form there with the viagra:

The Web, Where 'Pimps' Roam Free
Julia Scheeres Email 07.07.01

PUERTO PLATA, Dominican Republic -- A slow tourist season has hurt the T-shirt and coconut milk vendors in this scenic beach town, but it hasn't put a dent in the body business.

Evidence of the sex trade is everywhere as men in shorts and sandals duck into rent-by-the-hour "love motels" with Dominican women in bright dresses.

authorities, who accept kickbacks to turn a blind eye to the seedier side of tourism.

In Puerto Plata there are so many streetwalkers competing for the attention of vacationers that one hair stylist said she doesn't leave her home after dark because she doesn't want to be mistaken for a puta. In the town's discos, bars and restaurants, solitary women stare suggestively at male tourists or rub up against them like cats.

"I don't have an education, and I've got two children," shrugged 15-year-old Belkis as she slinked along the busy beach promenade here in a hot pink Lycra dress. "Where else can I make such good money? To be a prostitute, you don't need schooling, all you need is your body."

Belkis' rates start at $15 for oral sex, and she charges $5 extra if a man doesn't want to use a condom.

"I don't need any more kids," she giggles, looking for an instant like a child instead of someone who aspires to turn "five to six tricks a night."

http://www.wired.com/techbiz/media/news/2001/07/44888?currentPage=all

my real point is that htis is a double standard. so what if it's "just" for sex? the male end of th e"deal" gets teh benefits too... the whole sexist notion that a woman or girl is on the hook and on her own after a "mistake" is uncicvilised.

one mor ething, women still only get paid 70-75% of what men get for eh same jobs. this is beginning to to change and improve, but this is just one more thing that they end up paying for even tho we "all" benefit as a society.

The purity on this board is enlightening. Angelic even.... Can someone delete the joke thread....I find some offensive.

Come on guys. If it was a personal account and he DID NOT write it and just forwarded it than who gives a sh!t. It was a joke. The media blows this so far out of proportion just to keep the masses puked on.

The next thing you know Saturday Night Live will be taken off the air due to it's offensive skits. Then we will need to regulate more and the snowball never ends.

Second radio station drops Limbaugh | Earlier today, a Hawaii radio station announced they would no longer air Rush Limbaugh’s radio show because he “crossed a line of decency.” Now, a second radio station — in Pittsfield, Massachusetts — has said it is no longer going to put up with Limbaugh’s antics. “The nature of Rush’s programming has always presented challenges for us and he’s always pushed the envelope. But this time he’s taken it too far,” said WBEC’s General Manager Peter Barry. Armed Forces Radio is also under pressure by VoteVets to pull Limbaugh out of its programming.

I dislike limbugger just as much as i dislike howie stern

April 8, 2004: Howard Stern's show was cancelled by Clear Channel Communications after they were fined $495,000 USD for a number of statements made during a Stern show.[citation needed] Stern later used his remaining market share to criticize Clear Channel and the Bush Administration, and left the public airwaves to move to satellite radio, which is not subject to the same FCC decency regulations.

here's why i hate howie so much, i switched on his (TV)show one day and got an eyefull of this:

THE KIELBASA QUEEN IS FREE AT LAST
Denise the Kielbasa Queen returned to the studio for the first time in seven years to show the crew that she still
had it. She was swallowing a 12” kielbasa inside of a minute: “I used to be able to talk when I had a hotdog in my throat.” Howard wondered how Denise learned the trick, so she
explained that it was an accident: “I was working at a go-go bar…and I was [teasing guys by performing with a hotdog] at a bachelor party one time and the whole thing went down.”

Denise reported that she was in jail for five of the years since her last appearance on the show, as she was arrested for running a brothel out of her home: “My daughter told on me.”

Six More Advertisers Ditch Rush

By Josh Israel on Mar 6, 2012 at 12:03 pm

The number of advertisers fleeing Rush Limbaugh continues to climb.

In an email release today, GEICO said, “In 2004 when Rush Limbaugh’s program also carried remarks that were inappropriate, we ceased all advertising on his show. We don’t advertise there to this day. On occasion, a local station may mistakenly run a GEICO ad in the wrong time slot. We are directing our ad buyers to make sure that doesn’t happen.”

On Facebook, the St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Connecticut said it “has directed WABC to withdraw our advertisements from the Rush Limbaugh show,” adding “We agreee that Mr. Limbaugh’s recent derogatory comments regarding an individual testifying before Congress are not acceptable.”

According to Bloomberg, Stamps.com has also suspended advertising and tractor maker Deere & Co. will take steps to make sure it doesn’t advertise on the program.

Additionally, Bethesda Sedation Dentistry and Cascades Dental announced today they will cease advertising.

In total, this makes 26 advertisers who have taken steps to end ads on Limbaugh’s show since last week. See our updated count HERE
