Well, they talk about taxes. Im for letting the tax rate go up to clinton era levels if the people who would vote for tax increases would pay their fair share and close the loopholes.
Example: Democrat Senator John Kerry who has a history of voting for these tax increase you all love.
"Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is docking his family's new $7 million yacht in neighboring Rhode Island, allowing him to avoid paying roughly $500,000 in taxes to his cash-strapped home state."
Remember that story? Limousine liberals who are for the "working middle class" skirting out on paying his fair share.
How about in big liberal leaning cities where they are getting farm subsidies like this:
What about the taxpayers loss on the GM investment and the failure of the chevy volt? Buy American right? Buy American is misleading to me when the batteries that are catching on fire are made in CHINA.
All I ever hear Obama talking about is "big oil subsidies" etc etc. You know, oil royalties pay into the federal treasury EVERY DAY to the tune of roughly 87 million dollars. Im for ending their subsidies, but Obama needs to go after the loopholes and publicly talk about them. It will infuriate his own party because Dems love their loopholes too you know.

So yeah, raise the taxes, stop calling them "raising revenues" because that is just a stupid copout for the dirty word "tax". Raise them so everyone finally shuts up and the crying can stop. I really doubt that is going to change the behavior of this administration or the Republicans .
I also am sick of the budget practice where you have to spend the entire allocated amount or you dont get money the next year, just spend it as fast as you can even if you dont need to so you can get even more the next year...write some stupid story about how there are all these needs for the funds and there you go.
How is that stimulus working out? NO MORE STUPID CASH FOR CLUNKERS programs either where the cost per car to the taxpayer was $25,000!!!!!!! Fix Freddie and Fannie already, my goodness what a black hole for money those entities are.
