What do think of them and why...

I'll start:

Rick Santorum...
First off, he is about as boring as a sock. He is so far to the right that I'm surprised he hasn't fallen off the edge of the planet.
He seriously needs to take some public speaking classes and he has got to be the worst LIAR I have ever seen (which surprises me as often as he does it).
He has absolutely nothing new to offer, and if I hear him utter the words "family values" one more freaking time, I swear to God that I will kick him straight in the nuts...

Newt Gingrich...
Now here is a piece of work...
Lets see, what comes to mind when he unconvincingly attempts to portray himself as the most righteous, intelligent person on earth?
Oh Yeah...pompous, arrogant, egotistical, cheating, lying, angry little snotty-nosed brat.
Again absolutely nothing new to offer but he could be the new poster boy for the neo-con republican establishment.
Nuff said about Newt, (he'll tell you how great he is anyway)
BTW didn't he have a supporting role and sing the "lollipop song" in the movie "The Wizard of Oz"

Mitt Romney...
Now here is a guy with a lot of great new ideas...
First off, he wants to increase the tax "burden" on everyone in this country to 25% yet he and his cronies will still only have to pay 15%...that's innovative!!!
Next, he is going to balance the budget...and increase the size of the military. Imagine that, he is going to increase spending and save money all at the same time...a neat trick for sure. I am confident he can pull it off though, especially with all of the experience he has had in the labor force...and as an "economist".
I was really quite moved the day he told us that he can "feel our pain", reflecting on the time in his life that he feared of getting a "pink-slip" and losing his job. (Not only does he feel our pain...he dishes it out)
Lastly, his master plan is to buy America, layoff a large percentage of it's workers, split it up into smaller countries, and sell them off for a nice tidy profit.
One more thing...what's with the cute little boyish grin and the head twitching left to right thingy he does? (read up about "body language" Mitt)

That leaves Ron Paul...
While his public speaking skills are actually worse than Santorum's, his message has still resonated to a large number of Americans. This proves to me that the content of his message is much more powerful and appealing than his delivery. He knows economics and monetary policy better than all the others combined and he is by far the most "conservative" candidate in the game.
I believe he is an honest and sincere individual and I believe he is running for this office because he genuinely wants to better this country, rather than for his own personal gain or political power. (cough...cough...Newt ...cough) Paul is a man of principles and stands by them even if he knows it will cost him votes. He can't be "bought" or "owned" by big business and refuses to take a congressional pension. And even though I don't agree with 100% of his platform, I will say that I honestly believe that many of his ideas will make this country a better place and I think he is exactly what this country needs.
When it's all said and done, I still find him to be the only candidate that I can "TRUST"...

BTW if I come up missing on this board soon after the election in November, it's because Newt won the presidency and I am locked up in a federal prison somewhere indefinitely without representation or trial, for calling him an "angry little snotty-nosed brat"

Perfect??? Are you kidding me???
The first 3 clowns I mention here are closer to dysfunctional than they are perfect. Romney, Gingrich and Santorum are in no way, shape or form "better" than Obama...equal to Obama I will concede, but not better...

whenI look and listen to these guys, I imagine them as president. Can he be taken seriously. as an intelligent, thoughtful, person who garners respect. One who people, around the world and at home, can listen to without thinking.."what a lying, two=faced, bigoted, cheating, child. None of them look presidential or grown up. Did you hear that newt asked his wife for an open marriage? What a punk. out of that bunch mentioned, Paul is the only one I would even consider. It seems like he has put some deep thought into his words. Maybe it just rhetoric, but it doesn't matter cuz he wont win. They try to make him look crazy and the american sheep believe in american dominance and our foreign policy. Those other bozos love war, oil, money, power and corruption. .....Obama..once again..is the clear choice,,,,,

Republicans are fast losing ground in this country and their base is shrinking. They better wise up,,,

I may just switch to (I) from (R). 2008 pissed me off with McCain being the one whose "turn" it was.

I dont want Obama to win because then he has nothing to lose and its going to get really liberal.

As long as we win the Senate and gain more house seats then thy can keep him in line.

The ONLY vote I will cast this year will be for Ron Paul...Why? because he isn't bought and paid for by big business. Gingrich, Obama, Santorum & Romney are all "owned"

Every four years we go through the same thing and discuss it in between years.

But in the end it's still the same thing no matter who gets in, sad but true.

We go to the gas pump and we pay a fortune, we pay our electric and gas bill and it goes higher, we go to buy food and it keeps getting higher,we go to the department store and look at labels and most are foreign.

If we had to go down to the unemployment office everytime to get paychecks(unemployment) we would wait all day.

Last but not least, if we had a line for illegal green cards we would wait a week.

Yet wages in comparison drop.

How do we really get this under control when president after president doesn't really care to fight hard enough to do the right thing for the majority?

Vote for a guy that wants to do something different. The only one I see that fits that bill is Ron Paul...

Gingrich is unofficially the winner in SC. this should make all Dems gleeful. It's odd, i hear people on Fox saying they want to see Gingrich debate Obama.... If Obama plays it right? He will make Gingrich look like a plantation owner from 1840 in the debates. The funny part is Obama won't even have to do much to get it done.

Gingrich will do more to get out the liberal and Dem vote than Obama can possibly do [Wink]

"I'm willing to lead but I'm not willing to preside over people who are cannibals. My only fear would be that if I tried to stay, it would just overshadow whoever my successor is."

that's what newt said when he resigned from office just after getting re-elected....
