Intel confirms plans for new Oregon factory

Intel unveiled a mammoth Oregon expansion this morning, outlining a multibillion-dollar project that will remake its advanced Ronler Acres campus in Hillsboro.

The company said it will spend between $6 billion and $8 billion to expand U.S. manufacturing, including the new Oregon factory. Overall, Intel said the projects will support at least 6,000 manufacturing jobs and at least 800 new, long-term manufacturing jobs.
