Yes it is a big deal this is the number 3 in the country. Beck did it no matter who the media is that covers it.

Basicly it is an insult to the American Flag and country

I found it more comical than anything. Letting yourself get worked up over Beck, if he is as insignificant as you say then he should not bother you so much. Thats how I get a double laugh on this one.

Well it isnt smart, but there are a lot of thought police running around right now. You cant say this, or you cant say that.

If you are going to be in GB's position, you better be ready to get scrutinzed for saying that so to prevent it all...then he probably should not have said it. Its still funny.

Speaking of stupid things to say! Rahm says F*** the UAW. Now Jordan, that is worse than what Glenn Beck said! What is going on in the White House! That's Obama's boy right there too. Joe Biden anyone? Blago? You got all sorts of blowhards!

we dont know what he said, but from your posted article, it says this

While not specifically denying that Emanuel uttered those words, a White House aide rejected the implication that the chief of staff wasn't looking out for workers toiling at GM and Chrysler.

"Throughout the entire process that saved the auto industry, Rahm tirelessly defended and advocated on behalf of the auto workers," the aide said. "Any suggestion to the contrary is simply ridiculous."

And UAW President Bob King doesn't seem to be offended.

"If it wasn't for Rahm Emanuel,... if it wasn't for President Obama and the Democratic leadership in the House and Senate, we wouldn't have an auto industry. Millions of more people would be out of work today," King told CNBC on Friday morning. (Watch at the 3:00 mark)

"They have done nothing but to help the middle class in America. I appreciate the Obama administration. I appreciate what they have done for workers in general. Did they do good for the auto industry?

Beck thinking it would be good to poison Pelosi?.. Don't really care.. She's a crook.. What do I care if anyone threatens her? Crooks should be threatened.. and worse.. Is the way of the world, has been since we stood up.

JR, the quote you posted about the auto industry not existing were it not for the bailouts?

There has never been a time in this quasi capitalistic nation's history that a company failed meant a sector lost.
The idea that the three major auto makers in this nation were the only answer is so far removed from reality it is almost as if I was watching a pseudo realistic LSD dream of two coelacanth's arguing the idiotic chicken and the egg pseudo argument.

Let GM fail..
Let Chrysler fail..

Yes for the folks that work there it would be miserable..
I do know what it's like.

But in comparison to the extinction of the American experiment it seems not almost trivial..

Did Eddie Murphy, Richard Prior, or Andrew Dice Clay ever get reprimanded for their satires?

I agree with letting GM and Chrysler fail, as someone that actually might have a profitable business model could buy/run them.

Well, we'll have another chance in twenty or so years to hopefully not make the same mistake.

Good analogy Peaser. Comparing Beck to famous comedians. I agree that Beck is a huge joke. [Big Grin]

Glen Beck sees a sign from god in a flock of geese flying over the crowd as he begins to speak on 8/28
