understand why we never talk about cutting spending, and trying to reduce the debt. the CBO says we are entering into a world of debt that is unsupportable.
I understand the whole Bush argument, but is spending trillions the answer? We have tax rates in a wave going up on Jan 1, 2010, and then ANOTHER round of numerous taxes in 2013. Spending ungodly amounts of money on "stimulus" jobs that are temporary construction jobs. The spending is more than the bush admin... this just seems wrong. I hear that Obama has spent more money than bush did his entire 8 years...and obama's first term is not even half way done. I dont buy the spin, the spin about how we need to spend hundreds of billions to create this and create that. Its all a bunch of crap!
Can someone also explain to me why a death tax of 55% is not illegal. If I am a 15 year old kid, and my father died who built everything by hand....and worked his but off and accumulated 2 million asset base....if he dies, then the obama admin thinks they get 55% of what he created. Excuse me?

the first million is not taxable....(at least)
however, the death tax is double taxation...

Well, things are not looking good at all for dems. You got the blago senate seat trial..he really showed his true colors on those audio tapes. You have Charlie Rangel...that is actually kind of a big deal. You have the voting landowners in Arizona livid that this administration blows off securing the border. What experience in business or politics does obama REALLY have? He never ran a business, he was just a smooth talker in Chicago backed by the far left. Check out his Senate voting record, how many times do you see NV "Not Voting, Excused, Absent, or Present"
The new black panther mess, the beer summit, race baiting all over the place, unemployment is not what Obama and Biden said it would be at. Jan 1 2010 taxes are going up. Biden was personally appointed by Obama to make sure every dollar of stimulus went to the right place and there are fraud cases arising that seem to be put on the back burner...I mean the list goes on forever and people are still blaming bush. How many people do you know can say their job was saved by President obama? Where do they get these jobs saved numbers? They are not exact, they are speculative, and time has proven the WH speculation to be way off.
Let me say again though, I KNOW the Bush tax cuts were "going to expire anyway" and "they are going back to the numbers when Regan was around". When local and state taxes are going up because they are broke, now federal income taxes are going up, you are getting hit all over.
Lets walk a day in my shoes on how much I spend on taxes.
I wake up, look at my bills. Water, electricity, and cell phone bills all have multiple taxes. This is just local. Go to the gas station to get some gas, and I pay a heavy tax burden per gallon. I go inside to grab a bottle of water, taxed there of course. I come home, get on my trading account and sell a position, bam, I am getting capital gains tax, and then will pay tax again on it when income taxes are due.
Oh lets not forget property tax too because you have to pay to own property. The property tax is supposed to go to schools, but they never seem to have enough so they raise local sales taxes.
So I want to go fishing later, but I have to pay a tax on the fishing license. Instead of buying worms and paying taxes on those I just dig up my own. Got to get a 6 pack of beer on the way down, have to pay that liquor tax and tobacco tax on a nice cigar. Got a puppy so need to pay that dog license tax. Driving down the highway to a fishing spot, got to stop and pay that toll booth. I take my shirt off at the pond while I fish so I dont have to go to the tanning bed and pay an extra 10% tanning bed tax. (a serious joke from this administration).
Come home and google the tax charts for 2011. Insane, and Democrats want more taxes after this. Im really looking forward to being successful and creating personal wealth from my hard work. Yet, at $200,000 I get hit with additional health care taxes, income taxes, and capital gains taxes. Why? Because if I end up making $300,000 a year I dont deserve to have all that...wealth redistribution, right?
Here is an idea, how about they pay for things they have money. Why has this CURRENT administration been drunk on deficit spending? I dont care what any other administration did...they are not in the WH anymore. We can blame all the problems on all the past Presidents, or we can hold the current accountable. The Chinese we know holds the most, but Japan is not that far behind on holding our debt. We have whored ourselves to the globe on broken promises.

I know I overburden at times, but I am confused why you think certain policies are ok. You always bring glass into the posts too. I dont know why you feel the need to drag others into it.

First of all, he is our nations first DIVERSE candidate. He is half black, and half white...how does that equal straight up black? I think it shows diversity, and diversity is a great thing. We melt together in America, not apart Jordan. So lets leave the "i have nothing better to come back with than calling you a racist" back on the back porch.

Anywho...you asked JR to post a new thread about something newsworthy...maybe non-political right? Well...recently you and I had that same discussion...and I revived an older thread about movie quotes. On that thread there were rules...but no...you couldn't bother to read those at all....even though I reposted them when I revived the thread. The very first thing you did was cheat.
