just saw it on the Newshour on PBS. He said it. I'll get a specific quote when PBS transcribes it later tonight or tomorrow.

He was speaking about the politics of torture and who should be prosectured.

his whole case is based on the idea that it isn't int he best interest of the country to pursue this legally.

well, that's BS. The best interest of the country is Justice, and when you ignore Justice you have turned away from God.

i have to say that i am very disappointed in the Democrats lack of interest in seeking justice on several situations.

it shows a lack of character. i am no Bible thumper. but i am serious about the Justice issue. these guys are whitewashing termite infested construction. i don't care if they are GOP's Dems or Libertarians, they have to follow the same laws as everybody else. That's the social contract of Liberty, that's what freedom really means. Everybody is subject to the SAME laws, it does not mean that there are no laws
