the photo in that article says alot about how we got to the point of multiple tent cities again....
in the 1930's, Dorthea Lange documented the depression with alot of powerful photographs.
seems like blue plastic has replaced canvas, has anything else really changed?

i was wondering the same thing.
if we set up military base style housing? that would cause all kinds of political infighting, but these people need retraining and basic care...
how do you even go about job hunting from a tent with no car and interview clothes? sheesh what a mess.
