It's kinda funny how many times the word 'unindicted' shows up in that second list.
Seriously though? When folks make up these lists I really wish they would A) Stick to the facts (no 'unindicted' allegations) B) Use a chronology, some of these lists put names from the 50's sitting right next to a currently serving member. C) Categorize by crime. D) Include ALL parties in their lists. E) Highlight currently serving officials or men and women seeking new positions. F) Provide statistical percentages of political officials found to be engaging in criminal activities by type/ position held/ state/ and any other relevant factor you can think of.
Criminal activity is not a partisan problem. I don't object to this type of information being used to poke at one another but we should be using this data primarily to put a lens on our political leaders. When it is used primarily to bicker about whose party is LESS CORRUPT it obscures the focus and allows further actions to happen 'under the table'.
I do find it interesting though to note that the lists above would seem to indicate that democrats tend to be more susceptible to corruption by currency and republicans be more susceptible to corruption by sex. When you think about the policy positions of the parties that almost seems backward.

That's because us Dem's want to show were Capitalists first and foremost and not socialists/communists. the ACLU defends civil liberties regardless if they agree with their clients views or not. So long as NAMBLA is not committing a crime then they have the right to exist however disgusted we are with them. Much like white supremacists groups and other groups that are not popular with the general population.

I just saw clips from an internview with BOTH Bush Presidents where they were going on about how history will show them to be great.
Anyway, how is it that a father and son can be President like that? Arent they just another Kennedy family in a way? The Clintons are not as broad, but Bill and Hillary can make big things happen. Chelsea is being groomed for the future....if only Chelsea was hot.
