Why is Joe the plumber so concerned about taxes when he cant even pay his own?
He really didnt impress me with the 10 million hours of airtime he got all day today. Anyone else up to date on this story? If you saw the 3rd and final debate you know. Turns out the guy owes back taxes after he made a big deal about paying more in taxes IF he bought a plumbing business.
Because he has had to search light shone upon him, now it has been exposed that he hasn't paid the taxes that he already owes, and without a plumber's license the county will probably shut down the business he works for. He and the boss plumber, neither one, have a plumber's license, which means they have not been through apprentice training and have not passed proficiency tests. This guy needs to get out of the camera...he got the little bit of attention and he seems to have rolled with it rather poorly. McCain has tried to use him for an anti-tax poster boy and it will cost Joe big time.

Now I got another question...what the hell is up with this electoral college. Who started that nonsense? I was talking with someone the other day and they were going to vote for Obama, but they made a point and said there was no point in voting for him in a way because the state (Kansas) has already decided to cast the vote for McCain. Kansas has traditionally been a strong Republican state, and it is a given to know that is will vote Republican for President even though we somehow got Kathleen Sebelius elected as a Governor who is strongly Democratic. She has really pissed a lot of people off in the state.
So, if the electoral system in Kansas has already pre-determined a Republican vote then why vote Obama? Why doesnt this country do POPULAR vote. You would think that was how it would be in the first place.
