First, I note that it may be a bit narrow to describe this work as a method to fight cancer, as it appears to be good for just general health.
Too, though it was published in a British journal, I don't know where it was done or who provided the funds, but I do know if it got even a dimes worth of funding from the U.S. federal government, I should be keeping my eyes out for a speech condemning it by both McCain and Palin, saying research on mice is a waste of government money and they plan to put a stop to any and all such silly research.
