As I suspend my campaign.....(Damn that Sen. Rangel)

I thank you all for your help during the campaign....(you apparently didn't do enough, ingrates!)

I offer my full support to Obama......(even though I should be the candidate still)

I look forward to helping the little people.....(or anyone else who will vote for me in 2012)

Together we will make sure Obama is the next president of the United States.....(*******s!)

I really can't find the ability to care less about any of this election.
The only thing that ever concerned me to even a slight degree, was the possibility of having to listen to her nasal/whining friggen voice for the next four years.

Hillary giving her concession speech almost a week after the elections were over, and after being told to by DEM coalitions from both the house and the Senate is like:

A) the losing team of the world series showing up for game 8.

B) The losing team of the superbowl lining up for another play after time ran out

C) The second place driver running another lap after the checkered flag on the Daytona 500...

most of these actions would be considered pitiful at best and unsportsmanlike to say the least.

if women want to compete (and i do support womens rights) they need to learn this. "over-competing" is not good for the cause, any cause...

pretty much... but then, i'm not getting paid, and i'm not claiming to be "the answer to everybodies problems" or the best person to run the country [Smile]

do we really want an angry person running the country?

(pulling out what hair I have)

Excerpt from her speach:

Now, on a personal note, when I was asked what it means to be a woman running for president, I always gave the same answer, that I was proud to be running as a woman, but I was running because I thought I’d be the best president. But … I am a woman and, like millions of women, I know there are still barriers and biases out there, often unconscious, and I want to build an America that respects and embraces the potential of every last one of us.

I ran as a daughter who benefited from opportunities my mother never dreamed of. I ran as a mother who worries about my daughter’s future and a mother who wants to leave all children brighter tomorrows.

To build that future I see, we must make sure that women and men alike understand the struggles of their grandmothers and their mothers, and that women enjoy equal opportunities, equal pay, and equal respect.

Let us …resolve and work toward achieving very simple propositions: There are no acceptable limits, and there are no acceptable prejudices in the 21st century in our country.

You can be so proud that, from now on, it will be unremarkable for a woman to win primary state victories … unremarkable to have a woman in a close race to be our nominee, unremarkable to think that a woman can be the president of the United States. And that is truly remarkable, my friends.

To those who are disappointed that we couldn’t go all of the way, especially the young people who put so much into this campaign, it would break my heart if, in falling short of my goal, I in any way discouraged any of you from pursuing yours.

Always aim high, work hard, and care deeply about what you believe in. And, when you stumble, keep faith. And, when you’re knocked down, get right back up and never listen to anyone who says you can’t or shouldn’t go on.

As we gather here today in this historic, magnificent building, the 50th woman to leave this Earth is orbiting overhead. If we can blast 50 women into space, we will someday launch a woman into the White House.

Although we weren’t able to shatter that highest, hardest glass ceiling this time, thanks to you, it’s got about 18 million cracks in it … and the light is shining through like never before, filling us all with the hope and the sure knowledge that the path will be a little easier next time.

Still...it's all about how the Man wouldn't let a woman be president. She is unbelievable!

IMO...I don't think she's angry. That's just your opinion. But I digress...I am in agreement they are all paid shills, telling people what they want to hear, ie, Dem, Rep, Green, Lib, et al.

But I'm curious, do you think there will ever be a candidate or party that appeases all people? Would be great....but I don't think it will ever happen. Probably not even possible for it to happen. We as society are always left having to chose the lesser of evils presented to us. A sad state of affairs IMO.

It can't happen because too many people vote for their candidate based on their 'pet' issue. Also, politics are like religion in that noone can belong to all and all have differences of opinion with some.

in short,no

i've known since i was a kid that wouldn't happen... my parent were very politically active and i mean 7 days a week active. if it wasn't meetings? the phone was always off the hook with "deal making" and planning and plotting, etc...

both parties are full of people competing to rise to the top of their own party... they trade favors, ideals etc, they also twist arms, whatever it takes to get support or from the other members....

as for Hillary? i really couldn't stand to listen her version of a speech for 4 years much less 8...

i do hear anger, and i heard certainty last winter before the Iowa caucuses...

but anger has been there since the Clintons got into the white house...

i don't expect Obama to be "the answer" to our problems either...

BUT? if you listen to him carefully? he tells you he KNOWS he isn't... that's the difference...

and? i think the better candidate and the better person won the Dem election...

Hillary never once congratulated Obama on any of his wins. she actually pretended they never happened.

as for Hillary carrying the womens banner? there's plenty of women that have "made it" without having their husband pave the way... which no matter how you slice it? Bill did... hillary has ridden his coattails... and she fell off them..
