it needs Macadamia nuts to be the best IMO [Wink]

of course? then it wouldn't be a chocolate chip cookie, it would be a Chocadamia chip cookie...

Well, if you really want to hear my sob story? Caught the flu bug that's been flying around up here. Happened about a week and a half or so ago. Spent the better part of 4 days on the couch with a 104 degree fever shivering and sweating at the same time while I had about 14 blankets on top of me. Thought I was dead, seriously. Then just as the fever broke, I wound up with the worst cold I've ever had in my entire life. Still got the remnants of it.

I haven't had the flu since I was a kid so I had no recollection of what it was like but it sure ain't fun. The whole ordeal (flu + cold) lasted about 10 days or so. Lost 12 pounds though so I guess there's a silver lining.

You're even more buff?

Jeez, don't come here to visit alone--your wife will have my head...

Seriously, I know what you mean--got a scratchy throat working in the cold n damp in Austin about a month ago...never got fever or seriously ill, but some mornings, I still wake up and feel like I'm drowning.

Not bragging by any means but I can't tell you when the last time was that I was truly sick. I mean, living where I live it's natural to get the sniffles or a cough for a couple of days but I don't think I've ever had anything like this before. It literally kicked my azz and turned me into a mama's boy. I was simply down and out. You know what the sad thing is though? As sick as I was, I still managed to stumble out into the 35 degree garage to have an occasional cigarette. If I couldn't quit through that chit, I figure there's no hope.

There is some nasty stuff here also.

It's real tough on those small kids. My 8 month old granddaughter has some type of bronchial virus just got out of the hospital tough breathing, many other kids in with the same thing.

She had been fighting it for weeks and had been to the doctor several times before, then it got a lot worst. Had her on oxygen and using inhalers.

Some nasty stuff going around, that's for sure. Our School made the state news the other day. out of 800 +/- kids in our school, 127 of them were out sick. 2 of my boys have had it, i'm just hoping the newbon doesn't catch anything. Our doctor told us yesterday that there are some nasty cases of RSV going around. that's very tough on the young'ens
